Hair Care 101

"Empowering little hands, one strand at a time"

Our hair is our crown. Caring for your specific hair texture is important for the development of your self confidence and self care routine. In this 4 hour class, your child will learn to properly Detangle, Shampoo, Condition and Style his or her hair within the guidance of a Licensed Hair Stylist.

Get started with an initial investment of $50 for the first class, followed by just $25 for each subsequent session. In this flexible 10 week course each class stands alone, offering unique learning experiences without requiring prior knowledge from previous sessions. Sibling Discounts are available. Bring a lunch and drop off your child.

Sewing 102

"Machine Magic: Where Stitches Come to Life!"

"In this engaging 10-week class, your child will master the fundamentals of sewing, including understanding machine parts and their functions, while crafting exciting mini projects each week.

No prior sewing experience is necessary! As each lesson builds on the previous one, by the end of the season, your child will have developed the essential skills and confidence to create their very own garments.

A one-time investment of $100 per child covers all materials and class fees. Please bring a lunch, and enjoy learning with Mama Kaiya as your instructor!"

Whether you're just starting or aiming to master advanced concepts, this group offers a fun and engaging environment to practice and learn at your own pace. All ages are welcome! Mondays from 12p-3p

Monday Math Explorers

Children come together in a fun and engaging environment to improve their reading, public speaking, comprehension, and writing skills. Through interactive activities and group exercises, they’ll build confidence, enhance their communication abilities, and develop a love for literacy! Wednesdays from 12p-3p.

The Literacy League

Friday Field Trips with our homeschool cooperative offer an exciting opportunity to explore Chicago’s museums, parks, theaters, and behind-the-scenes tours of organizations and businesses that keep the city running. These free, educational adventures provide hands-on learning while allowing children and families to connect, socialize, and experience the city in a whole new way!

Mama Moon
Lodge

Moon Lodges are sacred gatherings, traditionally for women, that honor the natural cycles of the moon and feminine energy. Rooted in Indigenous traditions, these lodges provide a space for reflection, healing, storytelling, and community support. Often aligned with the menstrual cycle and lunar phases, they serve as a time for rest, renewal, and spiritual connection. Our Moon Lodges include meditation and prayer, ceremony, sharing circles, and rituals that celebrate womanhood and personal growth. We gather once a month. Nurslings are welcome.
