We’ve all seen the reels on IG, telling US how to talk to our children, move through big emotions, and care for our own inner child. At best, they are illuminating and support us on our way. 

Often times, these portrayals exclude culturally relevant details and can leave us questioning ourselves and operating from a disconnected place that isn’t resonant with who we are. 

Here at TLC we feel certain that our ancestors were equipped with ways to be in equitable relationship to children while honoring our intuition and authenticity.
